P1040321 (Large) Tom  and Linda Garber

President / High Voltage Project Coordinator
  tom.garber@itec.org

Tom spent 32 years in the utility industry with a focus on medium voltage distribution. (33KV – 600v). During that time he developed a passion for serving missionaries worldwide who struggle daily with failing electrical grids unable to provide the basic power needs for schools, medical clinics, hospitals and mission stations.  This led to a “Power Team” of professional volunteers who have served in over 34 countries worldwide since 1986.  Tom is founder and president of I-TEC (International Technical Electric & Construction) incorporated in 2006. Recognizing the latest technical advances in Solar, I-TEC has begun the development of new power sources never before available in rural locations.

Linda was formerly a New Tribes missionary and served in Papua New Guinea for 21 years. Tom & Linda were married in 2004 and she not only serves along side Tom at the PA office but travels MOST everywhere with him worldwide.  They make a great team.
